World Vision Guatemala Trip 2010

Thank you everyone for your patience. This was a wonderful opportunity for me to partner with World Vision and their efforts to bring awareness to global relief through child sponsorship. If you would like more information about child sponsorship, please contact me or visit www.worldvision.org.

Here are a few photos from my trip. It’s not all of them and I will post some still images throughout the next few weeks. Until then, here’s a little slideshow put together by the folks at Animoto.

If you would like more information about Animoto, click the link at the bottom of the this blog page under “sponsors.”

Peace.

    Johno,
    Beautiful my friend!
I know your goals for this trip were not only photographic, but in this sense you have succeeded enormously! I envy the photographic outcome of your trip!
The presentation as a whole is fantastic! But, on a technical note, I find the transitions between slides a bit aggressive. I often wished “wait! let me delve into this photo a few more seconds…” but then it was gone. And there is so much to delve into!
I'm going to your site now hoping the photos are there!
All the best to you and your family my friend!

Thanks Nir… I appreciate your kind words. I completely understand your thoughts on the “aggressive” transitions between slides. This is one of the downsides to “Animoto” platform. I'm looking for a good “slideshow” software for mac. I'm setting up a gallery on my smugmug site. I'll let you know when it's finished.

    peace.

Wow. Johnathon, your photographic eye has improved and deepened so much this past year. I am very proud of you and I know Dad would've really liked many of the shots you took. I agree with the comment above about wanting to spend more time on each image. Way to go. . .keep up the good work :-) Tonia
