Will you forgive? You said peace and that may involve forgiveness.
Johnathan M. Thomas
I never thought about it that way… I guess there are two ways to remember. Never forget the terror or never forget the heros.
I will never forget the lives that were lost and the men and women who fought to save lives.
Heros!
Their lives will be remembered and honored.
how about this… “A history forgotten and not forgiven is a history repeated.”
once again… peace.

I have thought about this topic quite a bit in the last few days after seeing so many banners on t.v. that read “Don’t forget” or something along those lines. Could I really forget such an event? Something that caused my heart to grieve and my sense of safety to feel so jepordized? Could I even forget if I wanted to? I’m sure I’m not alone when at times I wish that I could erase those terrible images…and maybe some of the five years of images since then.
I cannot forget.

Johno, Thanks for replying to my sniper attack and not just deleting it. You are a true friend.
I think I’m tempted to feel entitled to the justice that must be delt for the attacks on 9/11. However, when I read the teachings of Jesus I am convicted that He wants us to deal peace.
How amazing is our God who chooses to forgive and then casts our sins as far as the East is from the West.
